YWAM Training in Thailand

Hello Everyone,

Alice and I hope you and your family are doing well.  We are well by the grace of God, and we are praying for you and your family in our daily prayers.

Here is a brief update about our upcoming YWAM training.  Please do kindly read, keep us in your prayers and prayerfully consider helping us with our school tuition fees.

Alice and I have been accepted to attend YWAM Chiang Mai, Thailand for training to begin July 4th.  I will be in the School of Frontier Media (SFM) and Alice will be taking the school of Visual Arts for Missions (VAM).   We are waiting to apply for our Visas.  The total school fees for Alice and I for the 3 month lecture period are $3,600. The outreach fees depend on which location we’re going to.
The subject-matter I will be learning about during my School of Frontier Media includes:

• Biblical Basis of Missions and Cross Cultural Communication
• Media in Missions and Media Strategy
• Video Production & Lighting
• Story Development and Script-writing
• Directing Evangelistic Films
• Field & Studio Photography and Visual Communication
• Digital Visual Effects for Film
• Ethnomusicology & Indigenous Arts for Evangelism
• Using New Technology for Missions
• Mobilization Documentary Production
• Digital Video Editing Techniques and Tools

This media training will teach me what I need to know to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through films and videos.  This school will be a great help for me to reach the unreached people.  Alice and I want to start media ministries in different places in India and make many Gospel movies to show to unreached people.
The subject-matter Alice will be learning about during her Visual Arts for Media (VAM) training includes:

• Cross Cultural Communication and Research
• Developing Media Strategy
• Ethno-Arts
• Introduction to Drawing
• Advanced Drawing, 
• Introduction to Painting Color Technique
• Painting Mediums
• Cross-Cultural Art Techniques
• Image-Based Digital Illustration
• Video Editing 
• Motion Graphics
• Storytelling

This course will train Alice to create visual arts to produce and multiply evangelistic resources and tools to share the Gospel with unreached people in India, especially widows and children.  This will be a great compliment to my training to make Alice and I a well-rounded multi-media ministry team to create and teach Christ-centered multi-media content creation.

And to go there we need $3,600 for tuition fees, $650 for 2 round-trip plane tickets from India to Thailand, and $150 for Visa fees. We trust our God Jesus for our needs.  If you would like to help in God’s ministries, you are most welcome to join us. We are looking for supporters who will help us widen out net and expand our outreach for Jesus Christ.  We believe that God will send help from around the world. Please do keep us in your prayers.
